Eager to Prove Himself, Young Goalkeeper Setford Joins Arsenal
Eighteen-year-old goalkeeper Tommy Setford has expressed his excitement to begin his journey with Arsenal after completing a permanent transfer from Ajax Amsterdam.
“I want to thank Arsenal for this opportunity,” Setford said after his signing was confirmed on Sunday. “I can’t wait to hit the ground running.”
The Dutch-born shot-stopper, who progressed through Ajax’s youth academy, featured for their Jong Ajax development teams in recent seasons.
