Guardiola Confident De Bruyne Will Remain at Man City
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has quelled rumors surrounding Kevin De Bruyne’s future, stating his belief that the midfielder will remain with the club.
De Bruyne had previously acknowledged the allure of lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, raising speculation about his potential departure.
However, addressing the media ahead of City’s pre-season camp, Guardiola was emphatic: “No, Kevin is not leaving.”
While acknowledging the possibility of further squad changes before the transfer window closes, Guardiola emphasized that significant alterations are unlikely.
“Until the last day, we have chances to change the squad,” he said. “But if anyone leaves… I think 85/90/95% we will have the same squad.”
This suggests Guardiola is confident De Bruyne will be part of his plans for the upcoming season.
