Ten Hag Points to Trophies in First Two Years at Manchester United
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag highlighted the club’s recent trophy haul in his first two seasons, suggesting it positions him as the second-most successful coach in the Premier League during that time frame, behind only Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola.
Since joining United in July 2022, Ten Hag has secured the Carabao Cup and FA Cup. He emphasized the improvement from a period without trophies before his arrival.
“Of course I feel stronger,” Ten Hag said via The Sunday Times. “Before my arrival, this club did not win trophies for six years. In two years, behind Guardiola, we won the most trophies in English football, we are therefore in a position of strength.”
