Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has expressed his sadness at the departure of long-time teammate Emile Smith Rowe. The midfielder’s move to Fulham was confirmed on Friday, bringing an end to his 14-year association with the Gunners.
Saka and Smith Rowe rose through the ranks together at Arsenal’s Hale End academy and were instrumental in the club’s recent resurgence under Mikel Arteta.
The pair shared many memorable moments on the pitch, and their friendship has been evident both on and off the field.
Taking to Instagram, Saka paid tribute to his departing friend, writing, “From Hale End to the Emirates and all the memories on our journey. It’s been an absolute pleasure. Go shine bro!”
