Fofana Snubs United for Milan
Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana has reportedly rejected the opportunity to join Manchester United, with his heart set on a move to AC Milan. The French international is out of contract next summer and has already turned down an offer from West Ham United.
While Milan have agreed personal terms with the player on a four-year deal, negotiations with Monaco have hit a stumbling block. The Ligue 1 side are demanding a fee of around £17 million for Fofana.
Despite interest from other clubs, including United, the player’s preference is clear, with a move to Italy his preferred option.
