Mbappe Fires Real Madrid to UEFA Super Cup Victory

Mbappe Shines as Real Madrid Clinch Super Cup

Kylian Mbappe marked his Real Madrid debut with a goal as the Spanish giants defeated Atalanta 2-0 to win the UEFA Super Cup. The French forward, who joined the club on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, was introduced to the starting lineup and made an immediate impact.

Federico Valverde opened the scoring for Real Madrid before Mbappe sealed the victory with a composed finish. The win extends Real Madrid’s record tally of UEFA Super Cup titles to six.

The French superstar, who donned the iconic number nine shirt previously worn by club legends like Cristiano Ronaldo, played the full 90 minutes in the victory.

Mbappe’s arrival, following a lucrative move from Paris Saint-Germain, has significantly bolstered Real Madrid’s already formidable attacking lineup. The 25-year-old joins a star-studded squad that includes Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, and Luka Modric.

Kylian Mbappe has completed his high-profile move to Real Madrid, signing a lucrative contract that includes a substantial signing bonus. The French superstar will earn a reported $16 million annually, joining a galaxy of talent that includes Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, and Luka Modric.

With the Super Cup secured, Real Madrid now turn their attention to the domestic league, where they will aim to reclaim the La Liga title from Barcelona.
