Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has cautioned his players that without motivation, they won’t secure the Premier League title or even finish in the top four this season.
City have clinched the last four titles in the English top flight.
This season, Guardiola’s squad aims to win their seventh title in eight years.
However, Guardiola emphasized the need for determination.
Ahead of Sunday’s match against Chelsea, he stated: “Our job is to ensure we do the right things, because when you do that, you win and live better.
“If you think you’ve already achieved it and relax, you won’t win, you won’t be in the top four.
“That’s always the goal at the start of the season.”
