Manchester United has yet to receive a formal offer for Christian Eriksen, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Despite expectations that the Danish midfielder would depart Old Trafford this summer, the Red Devils have struggled to find a suitable suitor.
Eriksen has been an unused substitute in both of United’s Premier League matches this season, indicating a potential exit. However, Romano suggests that a lack of concrete interest from European clubs could lead to him remaining at Old Trafford.
“There have been a lot of rumors and stories, but from what I’ve heard, there’s still no bid on Manchester United’s table,” Romano told GiveMeSport. “They haven’t received any formal approach from any club.”
Man Utd’s Pursuit of Manuel Ugarte Continues
Meanwhile, Manchester United is actively pursuing PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte as a potential replacement for Eriksen.
The club has already agreed personal terms with the Uruguayan international and is working to finalize a deal with Paris Saint-Germain.
Ugarte has been excluded from PSG’s matchday squads for their Ligue 1 matches this season, indicating his imminent departure. The 23-year-old’s contract with PSG runs until 2028.
