Victor Osimhen’s move to Chelsea from Napoli could be on the brink of collapse due to his exorbitant wage demands.
According to The Sun, Osimhen is seeking a staggering £500,000-a-week salary, a figure that could prove too costly for Chelsea. Furthermore, the Nigerian striker is reportedly unwilling to consider a loan move.
With the summer transfer window rapidly closing, Chelsea has been forced to explore alternative options to address their striker needs. Federico Chiesa, who has been out of favor at Juventus, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, whose contract with Everton expires next year, are both being considered.
Osimhen’s high price tag has also attracted interest from other top clubs, including Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
