Arsenal Receives €35m Saudi Offer for Trossard
Arsenal have received a lucrative €35 million offer for winger Leandro Trossard from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, according to Goal.
The bid, submitted ahead of Saudi Arabia’s transfer deadline, could see the Belgian international depart the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal’s recent acquisition of Raheem Sterling on loan from Chelsea has strengthened their options in wide areas, particularly on the left flank. The club also has Gabriel Martinelli as another versatile attacker.
Trossard, who joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 for £20 million, has made a significant impact. The 29-year-old has scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists in 70 appearances for the Gunners across all competitions.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal will accept the Saudi Arabian offer or choose to retain Trossard’s services.
