Real Madrid’s Injury Crisis Deepens
Real Madrid have been dealt another injury setback following their LaLiga victory over Real Betis.
The club confirmed on Monday that midfielder Dani Ceballos has suffered a grade 3 sprain with ligament damage to his right ankle. The injury occurred during Real Madrid’s 2-0 win at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
“Following tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services on our player Dani Ceballos, he has been diagnosed with a grade 3 sprain with ligament damage to his right ankle. His progress will be monitored,” Real Madrid said in a statement.
Ceballos will now face a race against time to recover in time for Real Madrid’s match against Real Sociedad after the international break. This latest injury adds to Real Madrid’s growing list of injury concerns.
