England’s World Cup 2026 Prospects Boosted by UEFA Rule Change
England has received a significant boost in their bid to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. A recent change in UEFA’s seeding rules will likely guarantee England a top seed in the upcoming qualifying draw.
Previously, the top 12 teams in the UEFA Nations League would have been automatically seeded. However, UEFA has revised this system to ensure that the top two teams in each of the four Nations League groups will be seeded.
