Neville Points Out Arsenal’s Crucial Missing Players

Neville Prioritizes Saliba and Rice Over Odegaard for Arsenal

Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes that Arsenal would miss William Saliba and Declan Rice more than captain Martin Odegaard if either player were to suffer an injury.

Odegaard is currently recovering from an ankle injury sustained while playing for Norway. While his absence will be felt, Neville believes that Saliba and Rice are more crucial to Arsenal’s success.

In an interview with The Overlap, Neville expressed his admiration for Odegaard but emphasized the importance of Saliba and Rice to Arsenal’s defensive solidity and midfield control.

Neville said: “If you were [Manchester] City, you have just said want Odegaard out, but he wouldn’t be the first player I’d take out of Arsenal’s team.

“I’d pick Rice or Saliba personally out of the team. I don’t know which one, Rice or Saliba, but I’d take one of them out before I take out Odegaard. I love Odegaard by the way.”
