“He wanted to go to England” – Prekazi Accuses Napoli of Blocking Osimhen’s England Move

Galatasaray Legend Blames Napoli for Osimhen’s Failed Premier League Move

Dževad Prekazi, a former Galatasaray star, has revealed that Victor Osimhen was eager to join an English club during the last summer transfer window.

However, Napoli’s high valuation for the Nigerian striker prevented a move to the Premier League.

Prekazi expressed his surprise at Osimhen’s decision to join Galatasaray, given his previous preference for a move to England or France.

He suggested that Napoli’s financial demands made it difficult for clubs like Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain to secure Osimhen’s services.

“I couldn’t believe Osimhen, I couldn’t believe he would come to Galatasaray and that he did,” Prekazi told TRT Spor via Cumhuriyet.

“He wanted to go to England, the problem was in Napoli because the transfer was a lot of money.”

He added, “I don’t know how he came to Galatasaray. It is great, he will make a great contribution, it is obvious. Nobody can keep him.”

Despite Napoli’s obstacles, Osimhen’s talent and potential have made him a highly sought-after player. Prekazi believes that Osimhen will make a significant contribution to Galatasaray and that it will be challenging for the club to retain him in the long term.
