Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has expressed admiration for Andrey Santos’ performances at Strasbourg, suggesting that the young Brazilian could be a valuable asset to the Blues in the future.
Santos, who joined Chelsea in January 2023, was loaned to the French club to gain valuable experience. His impressive displays have caught the eye of Maresca, who believes the midfielder has the potential to make a significant impact at Stamford Bridge.
“If Andrey continues in the way he is playing, he could be an option for us,” Maresca said. “For some players, it is better they go on loan to prove themselves and come back to Chelsea at the right moment.”
