Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has defended midfielder Enzo Fernandez, who has faced criticism for his recent performances.
“Now questions are about Enzo not playing, before questions were asked about Caicedo and the price the club paid for him,” Maresca said. “That is not an Enzo problem or a Moi problem. Just because the club spent £100million, people expect them to be the best player.”
Maresca highlighted the unfair expectations placed on expensive signings and urged fans to be patient. He emphasized that Enzo Fernandez, like any other player, needs time to adapt to a new league and team.
