Carrick Addresses Transfer Speculation Surrounding Latte Lath

Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick has dismissed speculation linking star striker Emmanuel Latte Lath with a move away from the club, despite interest from West Ham and Ipswich Town and his agent suggesting a potential January move.

Carrick insists that the club is not looking to sell the Ivorian forward, stating, “Nothing has changed from our point of view. We’re in a good place. We have a good group, good squad, and good team. Manu has played well when he’s played. I’m calm about that. We’re pretty happy with how things are.” He emphasized the importance of Latte Lath and Tommy Conway to the team’s success and reiterated that the transfer speculation has not originated from the club.

Carrick made it clear that the club is not looking to sell Latte Lath, stating, “It [the speculation] has not come from us. That’s kind of it really.”

This stance reflects Middlesbrough’s commitment to retaining key players and their determination to achieve their goals, including a potential return to the Premier League.
